Public Transport in Córdoba: everything you need!

During your visit to Córdoba, you might find it necessary to use public transportation, either because your accommodation is a bit far from the historic center or due to mobility issues. Since public transportation can sometimes be confusing while you’re on vacation, we’ve written this article explaining in detail how to use the buses in Córdoba.

Buses in Córdoba

Although Córdoba’s historic center is compact enough to explore on foot without any problems, your hotel might be located farther away, or the place you want to visit could be too far to walk to. For this reason, Córdoba has an extensive bus network that allows you to reach any destination quickly.

To plan your bus trips, you can use Google Maps, which works well in Córdoba, or the official Córdoba bus website, which has a feature to find the nearest stop to your location.

Bus to Medina Azahara

While the best way to reach Medina Azahara is by car, it is possible to take a bus to the archaeological complex. There are two daily buses: one departs from Córdoba at 10:00 AM and returns at 1:30 PM, and the other departs at 10:45 AM and returns at 2:15 PM.

The bus departs from Córdoba at Paseo de la Victoria (Glorieta Hospital de la Cruz), and you must be at the departure point 10 minutes in advance.

The round-trip bus fare is €10 for adults and €5 for children.

It is necessary to book the bus in advance, which you can do on this website.
